Actors Take To Production
Shilpa Shetty has also launched her production house titled S2 Global Productions and has apparently signed in Prakash Jha for the project that will hit the floors in November.
Saif Ali Khan is the newest Bollywood star to join the actor-turned-producer brigade. His debut venture as a producer Love Aaj Kal has hit the theaters today and is anticipated eagerly among audiences. Till then here's a sneak- peak at others who have 'owned their work.'
Hari Om Productions, led by Akshay Kumar had struck gold at the box-office with Singh is Kinng and now Khiladi Kumar is digging out another movie titled Khatta Meetha.
Lagaan and Taare Zameen Par are one of the few Indian films that have managed to bag an Oscar nomination. Both the movies came from Aamir Khan Productions. The banner had also turned out Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.
Bollywood's Nayak, Anil Kapoor has been quite unlucky as a producer as all his three films Gandhi -My Father, My Wife's Murder and Badhaii ho Badhaii did not do well at the box-office.
Similarly, Devgan Productions, owned by Ajay Devgan faced huge losses with his first film, Raju Chacha. His second film U Me aur Hum too did average business.

She realizes how much he romanticized their mundane, everyday life. Yet in reality, he was often insensitive, negligent and apathetic towards her. She wonders about his dual identity. How can a poet be unaware of his day-to-day realities, yet highlight moments from it in his art? Is art essentially an artifice?
